Unveiling the Tragedy of the Kazakh Famine of the 1930s - interview with Sarah Cameron

The famine of the 1930s – Asharshylyq – was a pivotal event in the history of Kazakhstan, which came as a result of the Soviet Regime. It resulted in the tremendous loss of life, culture, and way of life. Despite the size and impact of this tragedy, Asharshylyq would remain obscure to most of the world.
