noe fellowship
The noe fellowship is our deeper pathway for those who want to move beyond momentary support and step into sustained transformation. It is the journey towards a community of care that walks with you as you grow your capacity to create change without burning out.
Over the course of the fellowship, you’ll join noe circles as well as guided practices and community check-ins designed to nourish yourself, build connection and establish new practices for sustained changework. At its core, the fellowship is not only about learning new tools—it’s about becoming part of a village where changemakers care for each other, share stories, and hold space for growth. You’ll leave not just with strategies to sustain yourself, but also with a community that has your back in the challenges and joys of building systemic change.
“Active hope is a practice. Like tai chi or gardening, it is something we do rather than have.”
Season 3
If you’ve been working for change—or even just paying attention to the state of the world—you might feel it in your bones: the exhaustion, the frustration, the quiet hopelessness that creeps in. The thought that things might not change - the climate crisis not properly addressed, violence not stopped, systemic injustices, like the patriarchy, persist.
It’s a lot to carry, especially when you’re pouring energy into trying to make a difference.
Hope isn’t something we “have” in endless supply.
Rather, it is a practice that we turn to, when things get difficult.
This fellowship, inspired by Joanna Macy’s work on Active Hope, is about developing a practice of hope. We do so by reconnecting with our values, the causes we are passionate about and grounding ourselves in community. All based on the understanding that long-term change only happens when we care for ourselves and each other along the way.
